2. Scope of Application<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThese General Terms and Conditions apply to all trips offered and carried out by Alpenlandtouristik e.K. They apply to bookings made via the online booking form, by email, or by any other means.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

3. Conclusion of Contract<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

By making a booking, the traveler submits a binding offer to conclude a travel contract with the tour operator. The travel contract is concluded upon receipt of the booking confirmation issued by the tour operator.<\/p>

For bookings made by email, the contract is concluded as soon as the traveler accepts the offer and has previously been given the opportunity to take note of these GTC.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4. Services<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The scope of the contractually owed services is determined by the respective trip description, the individual offer, and the booking confirmation.<\/p>

The trips offered are self-guided, multi-day hiking tours. Depending on the offer, the tour operator provides in particular the following services:<\/p>

\u2022 Accommodation including breakfast
\u2022 Luggage transfer between accommodations
\u2022 Travel documents (route descriptions and\/or GPS data)
\u2022 Where applicable, additional services such as guest cards or vouchers (e.g. for boat trips)<\/p>

No tour guide or guided tour is provided. All hikes are undertaken independently and at the traveler\u2019s own responsibility.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

5. Changes to Services<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Changes to individual travel services after conclusion of the contract are permitted if they become necessary, are not brought about by the tour operator in bad faith, and do not significantly affect the overall nature of the trip.

Especially in the case of hiking tours, weather-related or organizational adjustments may be required. The booked stages and accommodations shall generally remain unchanged.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

6. Prices and Payment<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The travel price is stated in the booking confirmation.<\/p>

No deposit is required. The full invoice is usually issued approximately six weeks before the start of the trip and is payable within seven days of receipt of the invoice.<\/p>

For short-notice bookings close to the travel date, the travel price is payable immediately upon receipt of the invoice.

The security certificate in accordance with Section 651r of the German Civil Code (BGB) will be sent to the traveler together with the invoice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

7. Cancellation by the Traveler (Withdrawal Before Departure)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The traveler may withdraw from the travel contract at any time before the start of the trip. The decisive factor is receipt of the cancellation notice by the tour operator.<\/p>

The following flat-rate cancellation fees apply:<\/p>

\u2022 up to 30 days before departure: 20% of the travel price
\u2022 29 to 15 days before departure: 40%
\u2022 14 to 7 days before departure: 60%
\u2022 from 6 days before departure or in case of no-show: 90% of the travel price<\/p>

The traveler is entitled to prove that the tour operator incurred no damage or a lesser amount of damage.

The conclusion of travel cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

8. Rebooking and Substitute Participants<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Rebookings after conclusion of the contract are only permitted after consultation and, where possible, in return for an appropriate processing fee.

The traveler may nominate a substitute participant up to the start of the trip, provided that this person meets the travel requirements. Any additional costs incurred shall be borne by the traveler.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

9. Interruption of the Trip<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

If the traveler terminates the trip after it has begun for reasons not attributable to the tour operator, there is no entitlement to a refund for services not used.<\/p>

This applies in particular in cases of:<\/p>

\u2022 health-related reasons
\u2022 weather-related decisions by the traveler
\u2022 exhaustion or personal circumstances<\/p>

Any additional costs arising from an early termination of the trip (e.g. additional transfers or overnight stays) shall be borne by the traveler.<\/p>

Statutory claims in the event of a travel defect remain unaffected.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

10. Cancellation by the Tour Operator<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The tour operator may withdraw from the contract before the start of the trip if:<\/p>

\u2022 extraordinary circumstances significantly impede or make the trip impossible to carry out, or
\u2022 the traveler fails to meet payment obligations despite a reminder and a reasonable grace period.<\/p>

In such cases, any payments already made will be refunded. Further claims are excluded.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

11. Liability<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The tour operator is liable within the scope of statutory provisions for the proper performance of the contractually agreed services.<\/p>

Participation in the hikes is at the traveler\u2019s own risk. The traveler is solely responsible for:<\/p>

\u2022 their physical fitness
\u2022 suitable equipment
\u2022 assessing weather, trail, and terrain conditions<\/p>

The tour operator assumes no liability for damages resulting from decisions made independently by the traveler.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

12. Traveler\u2019s Duty to Cooperate<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe traveler is obliged to report any defects immediately in order to give the tour operator the opportunity to remedy them. If the traveler culpably fails to report defects, claims may be reduced or excluded.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

13. Data Protection<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPersonal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of handling the trip. Further information can be found in the tour operator\u2019s privacy policy.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

14. Dispute Resolution<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe tour operator is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

15. Applicable Law<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

German law shall apply.
For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the tour operator.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

16. Notice on Package Travel Law<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The trips offered constitute package tours within the meaning of the EU Package Travel Directive. Travelers therefore benefit from all statutory rights applicable to package travel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
