From the medieval town of Landsberg am Lech to the K\u00f6nigswinkel region around F\u00fcssen, you hike through a landscape that changes with every step. First, the gentle foothills of the Alps reveal themselves; later, the backdrop of the Alps grows on the horizon, announcing your path towards the mountains \ud83c\udfd4\ufe0f\u2728. The river accompanies you almost continuously. Sometimes the Lech glides calmly through wide floodplains, sometimes it rushes over bright gravel banks and shallow currents.
